ReStore Administrator – Greater Cleveland Habitat for Humanity
Greater Cleveland Habitat for Humanity’s ReStore Administrator manages a wide range of responsibilities for our ReStore operations ranging from administrative support to retail operations.
​​
Administrative
-
Assist the ReStore Director with administrative tasks as needed such as scheduling appointments, filing paperwork, taking meeting notes, coordinating meeting times and agendas.
-
Manages ReStore supplies, ordering as needed and maintaining appropriate stock levels, within budget.
-
Perform daily receptionist work such as filing, laminating, shredding, etc.
-
Point-Of-Sale & Retail
-
Inputs data as required for the POS system for all stores and communicates updates to all Store Managers and staff as necessary.
-
Pulls reports and compiles data from our POS system as requested.
-
Prepares in-store signage for the ReStores along with pricing stickers and other supplies as needed.
-
Other duties as assigned.

Marketing & Events
-
Helps promote in-store & online sales of ReStore products and promotions.
-
Helps plan promotions and events within our three ReStores.
This is a full-time (35 to 40 hours), hourly, non-exempt position and is a member of the ReStore Team. This position’s schedule is Monday to Friday with occasional Saturdays as needed. Targeted wage rate is $17 to $18.50/hour.

Position Requires:

Strong retail knowledge and customer service experience; team-player mindset required.

Solid written and oral communication skills.

Ability to utilize Microsoft Office Suite including Word, Excel, and Outlook

Strong organizational and planning skills in a fast-paced environment.

Self-starter who can work independently and can meet changing deadlines.

Demonstrated ability to maintain confidentiality, exercise discretion, and independent judgment.

Commitment to creative problem-solving, a cooperative work ethic and attention to detail.

Hands on experience with office machines (e.g., fax machines and commercial printers)

Valid driver’s license, clean driving record and a willingness to travel between our 3 ReStores

ReStore Utility Associate – Greater Cleveland Habitat for Humanity - Cleveland
Greater Cleveland Habitat for Humanity’s ReStore Utility Associate assists with the day-to-day operations of the ReStore including the loading dock, trucks and store.
​
Responsibilities Include:
-
Perform multiple labor related activities on a day-to-day basis
-
Operate heavy equipment including but not limited to pallet jacks, dollies, forklifts
-
Assist in the set-up (clean, sort items, price items) of ReStore
-
Assist with organization and maintenance of merchandise displays and inventory
-
Interact positively with donors, volunteers, and customers
-
Provide superior customer service to donors and customers
-
Assist in the supervising of volunteer groups
-
Working with and guiding volunteers in their roles
-
Greet customers entering establishments
-
Answer customers' and donors’ questions, and provide information
-
Assist to resolve customer complaints
-
Other special projects as assigned
This is a 24 hr/week part-time hourly non-exempt position reports to the ReStore Manager. Starting hourly rate is $15.00/hour.

Position Requires:

Customer service skills to maintain positive customer relationships, encourage customer loyalty and resolve conflicts.

Excellent communication to interact with team members and customers.
-
Ability to work in a fast-paced and stressful environment.

Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. including furniture, equipment and fixtures.

Experience with some computer programs i.e. Microsoft Office, Excel.
-
Capacity to handle multiple tasks and competing priorities.

Ability to work with the public in a professional manner at all times.

Cleveland ReStore Truck Driver
Greater Cleveland Habitat for Humanity’s ReStore Dock Associate and Truck Driver works with volunteers and staff to manage the procurement, pick-up, intake, routing and sale of donated building materials, furniture and tools. ​
​
Responsibilities Include:
-
Driving Habitat box trucks to make donation pick-ups
-
Providing direction to staff and volunteer pick-up assistants
-
Discerning which donations to accept
-
Managing gasoline receipts and truck mileage log
-
Properly loading and securing items on truck
-
Properly filling out donation paperwork
-
Unloading truck upon return to the ReStore warehouse
-
Prepare and place items in ReStore for sale
-
Dispose of items not for sale as directed
-
Keeping staging area and dock organized and clean
-
Working with and guiding volunteers in their roles
-
Other special projects as assigned

This full time hourly non-exempt position is a member of the ReStore Team and reports to the ReStore Management as assigned. Starting hourly rate is $15.00- $17.00/hour depending on experience.

Position Requires:

Must be able to lift and move up to 50lbs. on a daily basis

Must possess a valid driver’s license and clean driving record

Experience driving a box truck

Must be able to stand for 4 hours
